I got to spend some time with my friend Bre in Boston at the Food and Nutrition, Conference and Expo. It looks like we had a rough day. Our friend Jena and her husband Benn were gracious enough to host us but somehow I didn't get a picture of them- only one of their cat.

White Deer

We are special enough to live near a very unique herd of deer that are all white. They are some what contained on the Seneca Army Depot. Ethan and I took the White Deer Tour last spring, you would be surprised at how hard core some of the other observers are. eeek!

I just want to give a Christmas/New Year's shout out to the Tourtellotte clan for sharing their holiday traditions with a brotha.  The gifts were great and dinner definitely started a crack-like addition to Yorkshire pudding. Mmmmmm...so tasty.  Anyways, thanks for the love.

Florida

Abby and I took a quick trip to Florida to spend a few days with Aunt Lyn. The weather was beautiful. I think that I speak for both of us when I say I wish were were there longer :)



We had fun With Alfie and Bogie too.

What a Week...

I should have known that it was going to be rough when I thought Monday should have been Friday. Happy weekend to all. This is a favorite good old photo.

A loss.

Today our family suffered the great loss of our long-time companion and best friend Allie Jo. She had 15 years and 8 months with us and I think I speak for all of us when I say how grateful we are for every moment we had.

Happy Birthday Me!

There are better days to have birthdays than Mondays. So Ethan and I celebrated mine over the weekend. What was originally going to be a day trip to Niagara Falls turned into a day trip to the Corning Museum of Glass. While we were there we made our blown glass ornaments. I have to say that we were both a little unsure of what expect but we decided it was okay after we watched a four year old do it and not get burnt. All in all it was a great day and i want to go back and make a more:) And thank you Abby for reminding me that I am now in my late 20's.
